I end up in Vegas for work a lot! But I don’t really mind, since one of my favorite restaurants (Mon Ami Gabi) is located at the Paris Casino. It’s one of those places where I can take clients/colleagues, but is also perfect for solo dining. The casual French Bistro decor, wonderful salads and side dishes that I can make a meal of, if I don’t want one of their delicious steaks, and great wines-by-the-glass, make this a restaurant that I return to almost every time I’m in town. And if it’s warm, I love to sit outside on the huge patio with a front row seat to watch the “Dancing Waters” at Belagio just across the street.
Many is the evening I’ve sat in that bistro or on that patio and enjoyed a bowl of mussels, a crock of french onion soup or an order of steak frites, a glass of wine and a crusty baguette. Mmmm – I can’t wait to go back.
